Escaping
Dos said, I am a creature of the neighbourhood and reasonably comfortable with that. Sometimes though an image of some natural environment will appear on the screen of a device and I think, goodness doesn’t that look incredible.
The trouble is, as a content maker, I am aware of how much of what is presented is totally contrived and so I worry about all sorts of things.
For example, did the photographer have to walk a long distance through harsh conditions and/or deal with scary circumstances. Was the place infested with mosquitoes and big hungry snakes. It is easy to get taken by an image, I suppose that is why films are so popular. Escapee your boring existence for ninety minutes, sit in comfort and be safely thrilled. Without any excursion on your part, get high on endorphins and dopamine resulting from audio visual stimulation.
Dollcee said, when you present it like that Dos, it makes the entertainment sound like a lot of old wibbley-wobbley.
Dos said, the question I ask myself a lot is, where do the boundaries of entertainment begin and end. It is my guess that for most citizens and that includes myself, no one has the vaguest notion. I think that everything and whatever, is some form of entertainment. The best option is to appreciate what you can, as best you can.
Dollcee said, fortunately for you Dos, you do not have to worry about a roof over your head or where the next meal is coming from. Compared to most citizens on the planet, you have it good and that enables you to worry about things that are not even issues for the majority of citizens. I suppose it help by not having hardly any expectations, as well.
