                                        Plastic Brains

Dos said, sometimes, I think it is really funny how something is redefined for whatever reason and the new definition gets adopted by the culture.

Dollcee said you will have to give me an example of what you mean Dos, because I am interest but do not grasp what you are on about.

Dos went on, for example, people readily accept that you can learn something new through education.

      Dollcee said, I understand that.

Okay, so children are treated like blank pages, there is no need to reconfigure an already established perception. It is all about filling them up with new information.

Dollcee said, yes, that is a popular belief.

Dos continued, when an adult has developed all sorts of ideas that could have been relevant at one time, but no longer matter, those ideas often become blockers for enabling the adult to develop new ideas and skills.

Dollcee agreed, with a deliberate, yeee-esss.

Dos said, so it is education for the blank pages and empty heads and counselling for attitude and perception changes.

      Dollcee, nodded with acknowledgement.

Dos said, well, the professors from the institutions are now writing, that because cultural perception is in a constant state of change and adaption, the neural pathways have to be reconfigured on a regular basis to culturally stay in touch and up to date with how to manage perception in the culture.

Dollcee said, where do you sign up for this.

Dos said, it is a lot easier than that, log on, connect, read, take a breath, do whatever it takes to be interested in what is happening to you and around you.

Through the miracle of language, citizens can now move along the evolutionary road when they embraced the plastic brain.

Padoke said, I wonder if the plastic brain can be recycled.
