Matter knows, what Matters

            Dollcee said, have you ever had the feeling that, memories are sometimes better than the event that gave rise to them.

            Dos said, sometimes, I would like to be able to appreciate the retro, but I am sort of more into what is coming up. 
            Dollcee said, you are your past Dos and everything coming up in your future will be highly influenced by precedent.

            Dollcee’s retort to Dos, put an end to the conversation for some time. Dos had to think about what Dollcee said and decided she was basically correct, but he thought he wouldn’t trouble her by letting her know.

            Dollcee didn’t enjoy too much silence, so she reignited the conversation; I think it would have been hard going most of the time in the hunter gathering period, but it is my opinion that we are still heavily influenced by our evolutionary development from that period. Since that period, it seems to me that we have been going through the period of socialisation and what we call culture. This has led to surplus production and enable citizens to be aware that survival is not as important as it once was and now the perception of everything, is now the big issue.

            Dollcee continued, now, it is the period of digitolism and where are the digi-kidz going to take the citizens, will they break the continuity from the hunter and gatherers? Will they abandon the bar-be-que and only consume fast food?

            Dos asked, do you think it is going to be for the better or the worst?

            Dollcee said we are characters in a digitol media story, I really don’t like to say this, but if I don’t say it, this conversation could end and that could mean the end of us sitting around contemplating everything. We have to continue the conversation for our own existence as digi-kidz.

            Dollcee took in a big breath and said, my opinion is, digi-kidz will be the last ones standing, that will be, the future for the species.

            Dos was struck down with dread, all these weirdos flashed across his mind and he was internally screaming, Oh No! not him, not that weirdo utter nutter, he couldn’t possibly be the last one standing.

            Cybo asked, do you think digi-kidz will address the futility of competitive behaviour?

            Dollcee said, that is really strange, there are citizens clasping three-thousand-year-old guide books on how best to behave, while flying around the planet on aircraft being flown by machine intelligence. Go and kill your brother, because if you don’t, he will inherit your father’s goats and you will be lucky to get that lame donkey who eats more than he is worth. Then, the women don’t even get a mention, they must be seen, do their work and say nothing. Digi-kidz have an awful lot to deal with, because they are another contradiction.

            Cybo said, I think you are correct Dollcee, it is not a case of good and bad, it will be which matter and what matters survive.

            Dos said, I had an image in my mind of these citizens, clutching; three-thousand-year-old guide books, while sitting in a very flash space ship flying across the cosmos on their way to the promised replacement planet for the one, they destroyed, while the women and children were back in the luggage section with lots of very powerful weapons and a lame old donkey.

            Dollcee said, I think that is really funny how the word matter is used to describe physical substance and it can also describe an idea. So, it will be a matter for the universe to decide on what matter survives.

            Dos said with a touch of excitement, that’s it, the metaphysical guide books claimed to have been written, not by the hand of man, but the Gods, to let matter know what really matters.
