Enlightenment 
            Dos said, there have been some big things happen in Western culture and one of the biggest, was The Age of Enlightenment. God was once in charge of everything. He had carried on with the tradition of his Greek predecessor, Zeus. This was the case until someone said, “I am an individual”.

            At first, subjects would ask, “what is an individual and why under heaven would you want to be one”? 
            The answer was basically this, “look God is very busy with everyone and everything and if you wish to help him out, take some personal or individual responsibility”. 
            Someone then said, “if I was to help God out by being personally responsible for my actions, do you think he would show his gratitude and be very generous and help me with good size fortune”. 
            “Ah, I didn’t think of that, but I am sure he would”.

            “Right oh, that’s it, I am an individual and I will be expecting God to be very generous with me in future”.

            These types of discussions have continued for centuries now and God has been relieved of great burdens in return for the lotto numbers and all sorts of good fortune. Some go straight to essence of the matter and simply say; may God be kind to me and bring me a good-sized fortune.

            I think it is amazing that God, unlike Zues, has survived the ‘Age of Enlightenment’. Then again, God has a very different approach to Zues. Also, Zues was the boss of the Gods and the current God is all alone, as a God, that is.
