                                          Protect your senses

Dollcee said, when I was riding on the bus this morning, it occurred to me that the messages the neural network receives from the nerves are genuine reports, good and bad. The shapes and colours of images, the sounds heard, all enable recognition and are necessary for existence. The mobile device at a basic level can achieve many of those functions of recognizing those sensations, that is novel, but a long way from the capabilities of the bio-sensors.

So, I move on from my internal neural entertainment of thinking about bio- sensors and start playing a little rhythmic phrase in my neural network.

Dollcee calls out, Bang! That’s it, my neural network is continuously dealing with genuine reports from the nerves and instead of switching off, what does it do, my neural network starts playing a game based on nerve reports. Boooom doo dah dah de de daay.

Dos sat patiently waiting for Dollcee to continue, but she didn’t, silence prevailed.

Cybo said quietly, the creatures that have evolved on this planet are truly amazing with the amount of information that they can process from their nerves and still have plenty more for some distracting fun. Sensations are energy and energies are the basis of the universe.

Dollcee said, Bang! That’s it, good and bad energy, continuous decision making.

Dos said, I wonder why the neural networks have a tendency to complicate genuine sensation messages from the nerves. It’s good, it’s bad, accept, reject, why not leave it at that. Why does the neural network enter into internal debates like, that smell is really unpleasant, should something be done about it, oh, starting to get use to it now, it is a bit acidic, it could be a dead creature and on and on.

Cybo said, it’s on, it’s off, the switching of the neural network is happening at such a rapid rate, that there are lots of possibilities for messed up switching decisions to occur. These can be compounded and what is the result? Look around you, we are normal ordinary citizens, look at how much we struggle to figure out everything.

Dollcee said, exactly Cybo, it does not matter who or what you are, all creatures operate and behave in the same way that everything in the universe does, random activity and lots of it does not make any sense and it never will. So, what is the answer to, how to approach this?

Padoke had been following the conversation with interest, but had not been bother to enter into it so far, but he didn’t mind a rhetorical question like this one of Dollcee’s, the evolution of the senses is the reason why we can sit around here and have this conversation, protect your senses and don’t dismiss the continuous messages from the nerves, the result could be terminal.
