Cultural Isolation
Dollcee said to Dos, do you think that being in an unknown band, where the members spend most of their existence in a little room making content is a similar experience to what it would be like to be stranded on a desert island.
Dos answered, that is an old fashion thing to think, Dollcee.
Dollcee agreed, it is an old fashion idea; but Dos, are you only going to comment on the question and not answer it?
Dos said, I suppose we are isolated to some degree. But all we have to do is pass through that door and there is a big scary world out there.
Dollcee said, I much prefer being on this side of the door and I have no problem with being isolated. Padoke’s television is about as close to the big scary world that I wish to get.
Dos said, I don’t think we are very ambitious, which is probably a bit unusual for a pop band. Also, being worried about what is the meaning of culture is probably not a good thing for attempting to do what we think we are doing. We are consistent on that point Dollcee, we are not sure about what we are actually doing.
Dollcee said, who cares, at the end of the day we are having fun making content, because we don’t know what or how to do anything with it, is not important.
Dos said, I like being in a pop band that does not exist because of our cultural isolation.
Padoke mumbled, I am sure that I am not unusual, I am a normal dog.
