Another idea pops up
Dollcee said, sometimes I really want to believe that, what I believe is actually true. Then, within no time at all, another idea pops up and I realize it is very hard to find an idea that is worth holding up as an infallible truth. So, what do you do?
Cybo came on line reasonably quickly for him and said, I feel much the same Dollcee. It is my natural inclination to protect and maintain my structure, in order for my neural network to function. This requires, good air supply, hydration, nutrition, sleep and communications.
Dos said, as digi-kidz we have inherited a lot of crazy baggage that results in contradictions and when you start to question these contradictions, you are in for a lot of effort to resolve them.
Dollcee said, the slogan that gives me the willies the most is, ‘be competitive, competition is good’. I say competition is good for nothing, we are social animals and there is very little you can achieve by yourself. We are dependent on other citizens for survival and that means, co-operation.
Cybo said, if machine language manages to develop to a level where it can corrupt itself, I hope it doesn’t make important decisions when it is intoxicated.
Dollcee asked, do you think it is possible for a solid-state machine to imitate how a biological neural network can corrupt itself?
Dos said, I doubt solid-state machines will ever do much more than add more naughts on to ledgers until the plug gets pulled from the wall socket. I doubt whether a solid-state machine could imitate biological corruption induced by nerve sensors and chemical intoxicants.
Dollcee said, if a machine language devised a religion, it probably will be patronized by graduates of the business school. However, I believe most citizens would die from boredom in the pews.
