Padoke’s television
Dollcee said, why do some citizens show a lack of respect for other citizens and see vulnerability as an opportunity to take advantage of others.
Dos stopped what he was doing and sat in silence for sometime before he said, I have no idea Dollcee, none what so ever. There is absolutely no doubt that there are citizens who have no trouble with abusing and using other citizens for their
own benefit or pleasure.
Dollcee said, do you think it is a result of some weakness in themselves that they exploit others.
Dos said, I don’t know where to even begin to guess. I expect there would be numerous mreasons, but as far as I am concerned there is no justification for inflicting misery on other citizens.
Dollcee said, what amazes me is that, citizens can build rocket ships, but they can’t sort out problems amongst themselves at all levels. After a brief time in front of Padoke’s television, I think this neighbourhood is a safe place to exist in.
Cybo hummedband murmured for awhile and then said, I think we accept that the neural network can be trained to respond in a particular way, but it is always going to be subjected to random decisions and there may be lots of explanations, but never a comprehensive or comprehensible explanation for citizens behaviour.
Dollcee said, I wonder if some of it is a result of imitating behaviour that a citizen could have been subjected to themselves.
Dos said, I know that I restrict myself from too much exposure to the over all activities of citizens, but when conversations like this come up, it makes me want hide
behind a barricade of denial as well.
Cybo said, is there enough room in there for another denier?
Dollcee said, you cannot hide from cultural, especially when you are cultural content makers.
Dos said, I think existence is much easier to deal with when you block out everything that does not sit well with your perception of everything.
Dollcee said, so you want to reduce your exposure to the culture. You will be culturally impaired and your perception will be a fallacy.
