Dead and Gone
Dollcee spent a lot of her time wondering why things were the way they are, mainly cultural things. She said, if you got really bogged down about something and after a long period of time, there was no light at the end of the tunnel and you had exhausted your friend’s patience with your issues; your last resort would probably be a help-line service number, especially if you could not afford to see a doctor.
So, what do you do if you are part of a cultural content band and you feel it is time to explore new avenues of cultural expression?
Padoke said, I would try a conceptual art visionary consultancy.
Dos said, we wouldn’t be able to afford their security detail to come to this neighbourhood, never alone the consultancy fees of a conceptual art visionary consultancy.
Dos said, do you think we run the risk of getting stale Dollcee?
Dollcee said, it may not be up to us whether we are stale or not, art might be a reflection of the cultural mood and it is not the direction finder or compass that we like to think of it as.
Cybo said, art reflects the cultural mood.
Padoke had a light bulb moment, art is only possible when there is surplus value.
Dos wanted to contribute; art is what survives from a dead culture.
Dollcee said, you are the ultimate optimism Dos. You believe we are making content in the hope that one of our pieces becomes recognized in hundreds of years, well after we are dead and gone. I suppose that means we existed if some our work survives.
Dos said, we will never know.
