Cynical Dollcee said, I am beginning to believe that a lot of content making is really about shifting perception, rather than introducing new concepts.
Cybo responded in a slow and deliberate way. Evolution is a slow transition, anything faster is a revolution.
Dos said, the next revolutionary artist born will be the first one.
Dollcee said, that sounds cynical Dos.
Dos said, artist are cultural mirrors. They reflect the culture straight back; the mirrors are not always of good quality and only distortion is reflected back.
Most of culture is only recognized in the moment. Citizens who can afford to stop long enough to smell the roses and look at art, are often shocked by what they believe they recognize.
Cybo said, since culture became a consumer product that has to be constantly turned over like soil in a field for the new crop to be produced, content makers like ourselves are expected to slave day and night, painting and decorating culture to keep it looking fresh and interesting for citizens to want to belong to it.
We are so far down the food chain and there are so many digitol content makers trying to survive, art has become the function of gift wrapping a mundane existence. Some might say, that has always been the function of art. Film makers definitely
embrace that definition.
Dollcee said, that sounds cynical Cybo.
Padoke said, my occupation is to be part of the audience, I lost my wolf skills generations ago. As an observer of your species behaviour, that is, what you call everything; I see two main groups, the entertainers and the entertained.
I believe, you cannot determine which group you belong in, the entertainers or the audience. The audience has so much to choose from and there are almost as many content makers as there are audience members. That is what you call social media.
Sorry my dear friends, I suggest you start looking for dog costumes and start laying around on the floor with me and the fleas watching flashing pixels and listening to the noise.
Dollcee said, you are so cynical Padoke.
