Dollcee asked her keyboard, what is the difference between being a real citizen and a citizen existing in a cultural fantasy?
When Dollcee had finished typing her question, she looked back over what she had entered. However, her fingers began typing again,
but her consciousness was clearly not involved. She was shocked as she watched the words appear on the screen in front of her.
A real citizen has little or no control over their existence in the culture. They are slaves to the beliefs and values that defines them. Dollcee you are a slave to what you accept as your cultural beliefs. Those beliefs validate your existence for you. This will continue on
unless a random action like an asteroid strikes the area you exist in.
Her fingers kept typing; a citizen that exists in a cultural fantasy is exactly the same as a real citizen. All will continue on, unless some disruptive influence comes along, for example an asteroid hitting the very space you exist in.
Dollcee finally had a conscious thought; maybe I am an artificial fictitious character. But, that’s impossible, I am a normal, ordinary, garden variety fictitious character. I couldn’t possibly be some
interesting psychological anomaly.
Dollcee’s fingers started typing again; for you Dollcee, it is about as good as it will ever get. One of eight billion citizens, the best days of your existence are the ones you survive, and then, go to bed and wake up to start a new one.
Padoke lifted his head and looked across to Dollcee and mumbled, things can feel strange here sometimes.
