Dos said, I read an interesting article by a professor from an institution this morning. He claimed that the reason some governments commit terrible crimes against other countries and even their own citizens is because they know that all will be forgotten fairly quickly. The ones that are unaffected say, I am so glad it wasn’t me and hope it is not them next time.
Dos said, when was the last time you read about Julius Ceasar being an arched villain.
Dollcee asked, who is Julius Ceasar?
Dos said, what interests me the most is that the professor makes no attempt to qualify his statement.
Dollcee said, we do that Dos, we make up things for the fun of it, including words because we don’t really know what we are talking about.
Dos said, of course we do, but that is what the popular culture media does. We are content makers and we have an artistic duty to relate to everything in any way we wish, for any reason, as long as it is within the guidelines of our high ethical standards.
If we had an audience, they would need references to enable them to make sense of things they don’t know about because they are too busy getting on with their existence.
Cybo said, ninety five percent of everything is perception. If we did not participate in the noise generated by the popular media, then the voice of a group of kids from an ordinary, normal, poverty-stricken neighbourhood, who don’t wish to be involved in the ugly side of this type of neighbourhood, would not have a voice for an audience that doesn’t exist. It is highly probable, there simply are not many kids that are not interested in being involved in the ugly side of culture. No,
that must be wrong, most kids are like us, good kids, who want to have a good existence. Cybo was looping, maybe the media presents such a gross depiction of existence, most kids believe that, it is totally normal to be ugly and horrible.
The conversation appeared to be disconnected and internal ramblings were being voiced.
Dos said, I have held strong beliefs about things and then change my mind and I wasn’t even aware of it, until I listen to old recording and was amazed at what I had been put forward. I suppose what we do is, we get held accountable by ourselves later on, because we do keep records of our content making.
Dollcee said, I suppose that most criminals get convicted by their own evidence, only we are not criminals, we are normal ordinary kids trying to independently figure out the meaning of everything with only our ignorance to guide us.
Cybo was still out there looping in a sort global way. What maybe superficial populist wibbley-wobbley today, maybe totally inappropriate in the future.
Padoke said, as an old dog, I can say confidently, what may be good fun when you are young, can come and bite you on the backside when the wrinkles appear.
