Red-pink
Dollcee has dyed her hair red-pink this week, she said she likes to mix the colours herself, because she feels the standard colours are limited and colour has a direct influence on how the world reacts with you. This includes everything, even reflections.
She asked Dos, have you ever noticed those people on Padoke’s television who commit themselves to extreme measures in order to carry out some ritual that appears to be totally meaningless to an outsider.
Dos replied, Dollcee, my code is limited in what it can understand about behaviour. It explains why I do not understand so much beyond the door of the little room in the universe.
There seems to be layers upon layers of cultural sediment built up over thousands of years. No one ever seems to take the time to appraise culture and delete redundant aspects of it. So, there are all these strange rituals that continue to be practice that appear to be totally meaningless. There is always the possibility that they were totally meaningless all along.
Dollcee said, I understand hanging onto traditional arts, music and dance, because they can be highly developed and beautiful within themselves. But when something provides for a few at a very high cost for many, then, what is really going on.
Padoke said, from the position of a domesticated dog; what I don’t understand is why don’t all cultures have one big celebration every year to appreciate what random activity has evolve into over millions of years, that’s us, semi-autonomous biological code structures or creatures we like to call ourselves.
