Neural network musical performance
Dollcee arrived at the little room in the universe earlier than usual and she was buzzing with excitement. After a few moments of hellos and how do you do, she announced, I have an idea.
Dos had noticed that when Dollcee was going to announce something that is important to her, she would wait until she was encouraged to make her announcement. After all, making announcements can be considered an art form.
Dos said, come on Dollcee don’t keep us suspended any longer, we are keen to hear what you have to say.
Dollcee shifted slightly and said, well it is probably nothing of earth-shattering importance. I want to post some articles on how I approach playing the keyboard. As a drummer, my left hand is mother and responsible for pulse and rhythm. My right hand is farther and is not responsible for much other than wandering around and doing whatever.
On the keyboard, mother is also the left hand and responsible for her children, which are, the thumb and four fingers. The right hand is farther with his children. If a player is left-handed, simply swap roles.
Mother hand needs to be much stronger as her children are required to keep the pulse and rhythm constant and play the bass line.
The farther hand and his children get the easier assignment, playing the melody. Jumping about from key to key within the scale of the piece. Be free my children, farther hand says, it is our duty to have fun and if you jump on a bad note, quickly get onto the next one and admit nothing.
Dos said, I like the concept Dollcee, what a good way to approach woogie piano.
Dollcee sat silently with a smile and a far away expression. She was in fact, effortlessly playing a woogie progression within the privacy of her neural network.
Dos thought it was better to leave her be, because she was totally engrossed with whatever she was playing.
Padoke mumbled, who needs a keyboard when you have a neural network like Dollcee has. Padoke thought, if I had fingers instead of paws, I would play keyboard. Then again, there is nothing stopping me from playing whatever I like within my neural network. Dogs can woogie as well as any citizen.
Dos had a hint of a smile on his vague expression. However, he was playing an amazing violin solo in his neural network. This is truly amazing because Dos has never touched a violin.
No content making is happening in the little room in the universe this morning, only great internal performances happening within the neural networks of the occupants.
