Birds
Padoke said, Dos, as a domesticated dog, I am probably too dependent on you, but I am sure you don’t mind. We both have a good existence.
Dos, I have come to the conclusion that all the major problems confronting the planet at the present time would be solved if, all the citizens, that is every last one of you, packed up and moved to some where else in the universe. Probably, a large black hole, would be appropriate for all of you.
It is a real pity that eternity isn’t true. That would make my idea not seem as harsh. You could go to the heaven of your wishes.
Everything remaining thing on the planet would be extremely relieved to see the end of the citizens. I suppose it was similar when the large dinosaurs went extinct.
It could be called, ‘Not Noah’s Ark’. Where, instead of all the animals having to be displaced for the sake of the story, the citizens would simply remove themselves. No need to build some great ark and flood the planet.
Birds are small dinosaurs and citizens are trying their best to imitate the behaviour of dinosaurs. Citizens are getting really big and smashing their own and all the other species’ world to shreds.
So, Dos, I have not worked out a way for you citizens to evolve into something more compact like a bird, so I suggest citizens stop acting so dinosaurally dumb.
Padoke is only having a bit of fun, he doesn’t really mean any of this. He also believes that citizens will migrate their intelligence into machines and everyone will exist happily ever after.
