A universal type of Thing
Dollcee said, there is an awful lot of really good music and imagery that is all about worshipping Gods. Do you think we should do some research and find some Gods we can make some content for.
Dos said, I don’t think that the artist approach the Gods. I believe that the earthly representatives of the Gods choose the artist and then commission them to make the content.
Dollcee said, if we wait to be approached by the earthly reps, then we can forget that idea. No citizens know we exist, never alone we are popular culture content makers.
Dollcee went on, do you think that, whatever music that is currently popular in the culture is a reflection on which Gods are currently being worshipped.
Dos said, without a doubt, the popularity of a God is directly related to what is being worshiped by the citizens.
Dollcee said, assuming you know what you are talking about Dos, then a God could be a God of things, rather than, a model of cultural behaviour. Like the corporations say, ‘we practice, best practices.
Dos said, I know what I am talking about relative to who and how many citizens are present. At the current time, that is one conscious citizen, a semi-comatose one and a talking dog. If another citizen was to walk through the door, I would be engulfed by doubts.
Back to the conversation we are engaged in, Dollcee; God is currently the Gods of things. This is not the first time that Gods have been represented this way. They were once icons, that’s right Dollcee, citizens worshipped images, how bad is that from an artistic point of view.
Dos said, another distraction; the Gods of things is currently where worshipping is at. Citizens are devoted to their things and they love to talk with them and talk to them. They love to sing praise to large automobiles that even have sanitary units so they don’t have to leave them. They can get fed at the drive by facilities, self-contained sanctuaries.
Dollcee said, if we made some celebratory music, that is about worshipping big things that citizens could exist in, maybe some representatives of those big things might come along and give us a commission.
Cybo said, tangible things, that is products, are a lot easier to relate to than some obscure idea that may or may not provide you with the winning lotto numbers when needed for necessity or a whim. To enslave yourself to a product through instant access and pay later, is not that different to devotion of an obscure idea of a universal controller.
