The Zoo on the Moon

      Dollcee said, I have been thinking, maybe we should believe in something.

      Dos sat there looking lost. Being lost is a small familiar space can only mean one thing. He didn’t have a clue as to what Dollcee meant by, we should believe in something.

      Dos thought how can you believe in something when you exist in a culture of contradictions and the pending scary future predicted by the leaders of mankind.

      Dollcee said, what do you think Dos, can we find something to believe in?

      Sorry, Dollcee, I am a bit distracted and can’t get my neural network around the question.

      Cybo said, I am onboard Dollcee. I don’t know whether I have grasped the concept totally, but I can see that believing in something can give you an identity for the purpose of recognition by others and maybe even, ourselves.

      For example, we could believe in the concept of everyone on the planet agreeing to the construction of a zoo on the moon.

      Dollcee said, did you say, build a zoo on the moon. Why would you want to build a zoo on the moon for?

      Cybo said, I have no idea why you would build a zoo on the moon. I didn’t realize that you had to justify why you believed in something.

      Dollcee said, you are probably correct about that Cybo, but a zoo on the moon.

      Dos was slowly connecting neurons to build a pathway in his neural network to deal with Dollcee’s idea of believing in something, but he hadn’t registered that the conversation had moved onto the zoo on the moon.

      Dos finally said, I think that would be the most difficult thing we have tried to achieve finding something to believe in. Since the advent of the three second image change on television, citizens cannot focus on anything long enough to believe it exists. If something does last longer, it is considered boring and ignored anyway.

Most of all, who would be game to seriously oppose it. Every child born, would dream of going to the zoo on the moon.
