Sorry Kidz
Dollcee said, I had this idea on the bus on the way here this morning, we could make a pod cast. Half the people on the bus have buds in their ears and they are not making any groovy moves, so I assume some of them are tuned into podcasts.
Dos said, I hate to be the one who says it, but we decided we are cultural painters and decorators and no one would be interested in our activities.
Dollcee said, you are probably correct Dos, it would get in the way and no one would be interested in how we make content; they would only want to be entertained by what we end up with.
Cybo said, it is ironic, we find making content totally absorbing and interesting, but because we are a normal neighbourhood band, we believe culture is probably as ordinary as we are.
Dollcee said, I think to be interesting to an audience, you have to have lots of tattoos and use profane language, yell and scream abuse at each other, and carry on with major behavioural problems and cry with the frustration from not being recognized by cruel judges of your exceptionalism.
Cybo said, when you put it like that Dollcee, we are extremely ordinary.
Dollcee and Dos said simultaneously, we are ordinary.
Dos said, besides making music, I really enjoy dismantling everything and reconfiguring it in a way that makes sense for me.
Dollcee said, I don’t think anyone except Padoke, would understand what we talk about when we are making content. We have no qualifications to hang on the walls. We have to make up new words because we don’t know what we are talking about and even a lot of the words we use are probably meant to mean something else anyway.
Cybo said, I believe that is the best part about it is, we haven’t been trained in anything we do and we do lots of guessing. I wonder how we manage to do all this stuff?
Padoke said, you are on the line a lot, scrolling and swiping. It is my opinion that you are hunters and collectors of culture that you cut and paste together into something, visually and musically interesting for you. You defined your existence as what makes sense for you, but it probably would not survive beyond this room.
Padoke continued on, now this all leads to why you do not exist; everything makes sense in this little room in the universe, beyond that door, there is no audience, I am your audience, the pet dog, sorry kidz.
Dollcee said, that’s it, I am going to leap off the couch. Thanks for all the fun, good bye.
