Reset Button

      Dos said, I read an article this morning written by a professor who claims citizens should hit their reset button more often.

      Dollcee asked, what is the professor’s area of expertise?

      Dos said, he was a history professor until he was made redundant because the institution didn’t wish to dwell on the past, they wished to move on.

      Dollcee asked, where exactly is a citizens reset button located?

      Dos replied, he means a metaphorical reset button.

      Dollcee said, that is interesting. I think the professor has a point. Most of our conscious existence is perception, so why not imagine a convenient button that you press when the neural network gets a bit confused or overloaded and clear up the mess and start again.

      Cybo said, I find that low energy mode is a bit like that, sort of a reset button.

      Dollcee said, beware of external pressure attempting to push your imaginary reset button on your behalf. You may have good reason to act in a certain way and you may not be overloaded.

      Dos said, I believe that I am generally happy and I hope my reset button is not interfered with.

      Dollcee asked, I wonder what the metaphorical reset button was called in the really olden days before hairdressers descended from heaven?
