                                    Neo-Graffiti Art

Dollcee said, I had this really good beat happening in my head on the way over this morning. Then, a concept suddenly entered my thoughts and I totally lost the beat.

Dos asked, what was the concept?

      Dollcee replied, citizen reflectors.

Dos said, it sounds good, but what are citizen reflectors?

Dollcee said, well, it is really simple. When you travel on the bus, you go pass lots of digital signs with ever changing advertisements. At first, I thought, it would be a good idea to replace the signs with mirrors, so citizens could continually reflect on who and where they are.

Then, I thought, come on girl you are digital content maker at the cutting edge of cultural. Instead of mirrors, why not connect them to video cameras.

Dos did something unusual for him, he got excited and interjected. Why not employ digital content makers like us to go around with videos cameras and live stream on the signs. It would save having to put boring advertisements on them all the time.

Dollcee didn’t mind Dos’s interjection and agreed to what a good idea it is. She said, most citizens don’t like advertisements popping up on everything all the time, I am sure the re-purposing of digitol billboards would be appreciated.

Cybo asked, isn’t that an inversion of the free-market consumer system?

Dollcee said, oh my goodness Cybo, thanks for pointing that out. The last thing I would ever wish to do is turn everything upside down. I only thought of it as a bit of fun for everyone to see themselves as they are and not be the targets of marketing all of the time.

Cybo said, my character on this blog does not have to be as well behaved as your character, Dollcee. I wonder if it would be culturally appreciated if the signs were hacked by neo-digitol graffiti artists and all sorts of fun displays are presented on them.

      Padoke opened an eye, slightly.
