Wearable period suspensions
Dollcee said, Dos, if you choose to exist in another period of history, when would you like it to be?
Dos slunk into a pose and his facial expression was one of vagueness. Eventually he began to answer Dollcee’s question, I do not wish to exist in another period of history. I struggle to exist in this period and I cannot see how it would be different to any other period.
Dos took so long to answer Dollcee, she had moved on and had to think hard to determine what he was on about. Eventually, she caught on and said, I can understand that. Sometimes I want to whizz ahead into the future, so I can find out what is happening now. We are a result of our culture and historical period. It would probably be very difficult to quickly adjust to another historical period.
Cybo made a strange sound and then said, I wonder if culture can be separated from a historical period?
Dos said, I believe that culture is bound by to period it exists in. It would be an interesting line of inquiry to pursue on the line. I am sure there would be some interesting positions taken on that matter.
Cybo said, I wonder why there are not lots of words that specifically define historical periods.
Dos said, I am sure there will be a professor at some institution that is developing a resolution to the problem. Probably devising wearable period suspensions that stops biological aging while having to wait for something to happen; therefore, extending the overall length of a citizen’s existence.
Dollcee said, I think we should set to work and develop the concept ourselves. Maybe we could call it, Tock’s wearable period suspensions. The media message could be, don’t waste your existence waiting, at the press of a button, go into a state of suspended animation with the aid of Tock’s wearable period suspensions, ‘exist longer, don’t die waiting’.
Cybo said, that is one of the great benefits of being media content makers, it is all conceptual. All you have to do is believe and everything is wonderfully rewarding.
Digitol Spiritualism, a new age for citizens to exist in, long live the digi-kidz for finding this new path to follow.
Padoke said, I think you are taking credit for something that was figured out a long, long time ago, sorry kidz, the metaphysical is not new.
