Look Look
Padoke said, look at this. He sprung to his feet and kept saying, look, look.
As Padoke drew their attention to the television screen, he continued, look, look.
The image on the television screen was thousands of chickens crammed into a huge shed.
When Padoke was sure he had their attention, he said, that is you.
Dollcee said, what do you mean Padoke, we are not chickens.
Padoke said you are one of the many chirruping away and contributing to the very noise that drowns your own voice out. That is the popular culture in action, that you belong to.
Dos said, with a curious tone, I wonder what they are saying.
Cybo said, get me out of here, I don’t want to plucked and fried.
Padoke said, what is happening to those chickens is not that much different to the economic model that is applied to citizens. Economies of scale lower costs to extract more profit. How many billions of you are out there?
Dollcee’s neural network had gone into switching overdrive and she started converting the results into soundwaves. We are definitely lost in the popular cultural noise and we have talked about this many times and realize it is pointless killing ourselves to cut through it. We know we are not inspiring to others, because we are like them, ordinary folks getting on with it and we have no agenda to push onto anyone else.
Dollcee said, thankyou Padoke for pointing out the similarities of us and, thousands of chickens waiting in a big shed to be plucked and fried.
Padoke said, the chickens do not have an escape door like you do, they have no options, they are going to plucked and fried regardless.
