Dos said, there are some advantages to existing on-the-line without an audience. For example, there is no pressure on us to be consistent. We can change direction, experiment as much as we like. We can probably get away with being a little hypocritical as well.
Dollcee said, the culture we try to exist in is definitely not consistent. So how any popular culture content maker can be consistent is way beyond me.
There are exceptions though. Lyle the hairdresser is consistent. He can talk consistently without saying too much of substance.
Dos asked, why do you think he talks so much?
Dollcee said, I think Lyle is a speed reader of pop-journalism. I suspect he remembers everything and then repeats it over and over again all day.
Dollcee said, Lyle once said that he is actually a reassurance therapist. He said, even though he is a very capable of listening, he simply does not have enough time to listen to all the doubts and problems that his clients bring with them to the saloon.
Cybo said, no wonder we don’t have an audience, we don’t listen to anyone or reassure them. We only do what we want to do.
Dos said, that is a good thing Cybo, because we don’t have to get upset with having to interact with citizens who are totally confused about what to believe and how much to believe in what ever they think is related to themselves.
Dollcee said, I have to agree with you on that one Dos. I certainly do not wish to add to the incredible numbers of extremely ignorant on-the-line smart arses that happily make claims to the ignorant.
Cybo said, I think that we must have mastered ignorance to such a degree that we can make so much popular culture content and not have a clue as to what we are doing.
Padoke said, you can do it because you are professionals.
