                                       Analogue

Dos said, the thing I like about being a musician is you always feel like you are going somewhere. It is not like being a truck driver and heading off down the road all the time. It is more about going somewhere new in your perception of everything.

Dollcee said, I wonder if truck drivers sing country songs, all day long, while they drive along, yodelling, trucking.

Dos said, I am sure they do, they cannot read a book or play the guitar. Although they can tap out a beat on the wheel.

Dollcee said, beside truck drivers and musicians, I wonder how many other jobs there are where you can tap out a beat and sign along while you work away.

Dos said, I can’t think of one other job, except may be spaceship pilots could manage it.

Dollcee said, that would be weird playing drums on a spaceship. When you dropped your sticks, you would have to reach out for them instead of picking them up.

Dos replied in a dreamy sort of unconnected way, I wonder how long it will be before the first popular culture band blasts off amongst the stars to do a heavenly concert.

Dollcee said, there is probably more chance of it being a country band then a popular culture band. A country band would be a lot more practical and not need as much gear.

Dos said, there are so many different types of music. I wonder if it was like that back in the olden days when the sky was dark, thunder was really loud and lightning flashed across the sky. When, there was no digi-tollism and it was all analogue.

Dollcee said, it is really easy to think that you are looking back when everything was good and wonderful. But! And that is a really big “BUT!” with an exclamation mark, I am not going to exist in fear of the future. I am going to drive my optimistism, powered by youthful ignorance into the unknown adventures and exploration of the future. There will be no time available for boredom, but a bit spare time for some caution on occasions. However, I doubt if I will sign country songs as I move along, well, maybe one, every so often.
