                                       Pampered Lapdog

Dollcee asked Dos, what did Cybo mean the other day, when he said, celebrities have staff?

Dos said, I cannot relate to days, even though I am aware of what you are saying Dollcee. However, I can relate to Cybo’s statement.

I have read many articles about celebrities and even though they are presented as exceptional citizens, they are a marketed image by professional business organisations. There is nothing exceptional about the business model they are projected from.

Dollcee said, we are professionals, but there is no business model here.

Dos said, a business is usually a complex arrangement that requires lots if inputs that produce a financial output.

We are content makers that haven’t thought about the “why” stage yet, we are still deeply involved in the “how” part of things.

Dollcee asked, do you have to go through stages, or can you stay where you are happily doing the “how” thing?

Dos said, existence is a continuum, there is no reason to intentionally stuff up something that is worthwhile, because of misguided beliefs.

We are a popular culture band that makes content. We do not have to prove we exist, we agree to what is going on in the little room in the universe. As far as I know, there is no universal law that states that popular culture band must have a defined audience to prove they exist.

Dollcee said, that really gives me the hee-bee-gee-bees, that an audience gets to choose the band.

Dos said, exactly, there is no guarantee that we would either identify with or like the audience and they might have expectations about us that we are not happy about.

Dollcee said, I suppose celebrities don’t have an audience either, they have customers.

Dos said, legitimacy is another belief and there are so many beliefs to choose from.

Padoke wondered, how did I end up with this lot. How come I am not a pampered lapdog of some glamorous celebrity that has staff?
