            Western culture now has a very negative position on cigarette smoking. The Western health industries are meticulous collectors of statistics. They use this statistical information for applying for funding. It became apparent that the cost of dealing with health issues directly cause through tobacco smoking was far greater than revenue collected from the tobacco industry.

            Sensational television coverage has nothing to do with human suffering and everything to do with entertainment and therefore, ratings/revenue. 
            Padoke, the talking dog, not the pop band, spends most of his time in front of the television. Padoke said, have you ever noticed that when they show footage of wars, the people are always smoking, I suppose life expectancy must be considered to be very short in a war.
