Unwanted Citizens
Dollcee said, if it is possible to transfer intelligence from a citizen to a machine, do think there would be citizens willing to have their intellect transferred to a machine?
Dos said, I am sure there would be plenty of volunteers. What would be interesting is, why they would be willing to go through the process, assuming it would be non-reversable.
Cybo said, the question that interests me the most is how much of the intellect would be required in the machine form. I imagine it will not be a sensitive machine with nerves all over its structure and would be in a fixed situation. Without the necessity of the organs and nerve functions, there would be a lot of idle intellect. There would be no need for intestinal neurons either, what would these neurons do?
Dollcee said, that is something to consider. If my intellect was transferred into a spaceship and all organs and nerve functions were no longer exercised, would the intellect deteriorate and be rendered useless? Would it become a really stupid spaceship and not have a clue as to, what to do?
Dos said, that is a real possibility, exercising everything is essential for existence, at least as a musician it is.
Dollcee said, digi-kidz have an awful lot to think about, besides adding a lot of naughts onto everything.
Dos said, I wonder if some billionaire with a really flash spaceship is going to send it to Mars to stake out some big land grab. Would they rely on the transfer of a citizen’s intellect to run the operation or would the billionaire use written code to ensure they keep control?
Dollcee said, I have no idea how billionaires think. My guess would be, they would not chance their scheme to a citizen and go for written code capable of lots of naughts.
Cybo said, I have no idea either about how billionaires operate. I hope I can continue to exist long enough to read about whether it will be an exclusive development for the wealthy or a resettlement development for planet earth’s unwanted citizens.
