          Dos said, western culture has had many common threads through its history. Some have retained a constant and prominent position with only the actors changing over time. The actors have had to change because of the finite life of citizens. However, memories and legacies’ can be appropriated by succeeding actors and repurposed for convenient reasons.

          Julies Caesar is celebrated in Western culture as one of the great military expansionists of all times. The month of July was named in honour of him. 
          What is most amazing about Julius Ceasar is when assessed on a relative scale to the contemporary western world, he is unmatched as a megalomaniac. 
          How this is the case when it would be assumed that most citizens in the contemporary world would hope that megalomania will never become a fashionable norm again.
