Truth
Dollcee turned to Dos and asked, when something becomes a really obvious problem that directly affects most citizens; how long do you think it takes for the system to respond to the problem?
Dos replied, it would depend on what the problem is. Something in the culture develops over a long period of time and in turn, will take a long time to dismantle. There will be lots of habits to break, lots of interests to be appeased and attitudes to shift.
Dos said, for example, something I have practically no experience with is, private transport. Originally, only the wealthy had access to private transport, then slowly, automobiles came along and they required specialist operators. There were no suitable roads for them and no road rules to manage them with or service stations to keep them functional. Before long, citizens became slaves to automobiles and had to live in suburbs where the automobile was better suited. The automobile is now the centre of our great and magnificent culture which we are all totally devoted to.
Imagine how hard it would to dismantle the automobile centric culture. The suburbs would have to be turned back over to natural forces to manage and what would citizens do with all that time they now spend in gridlocked traffic.
Dollcee said, I am so glad that I am a bus riding citizen and not some lonely unconnected automobile driving citizen.
Cybo said, something I find interesting is the two big issues that the leaders of mankind have to currently deal with; saving the planet from the overzealous activities of citizens, which results with the climate being interfered with and keeping the economy pumping at a rate that makes it grow continuously beyond reasonable expectations. For me, it seems there is a contradiction happening here. The left hand does not appear to know what the right hand is doing.
Dos said, I believe that you have that back to front, Cybo. It is the right hand doesn’t know what the left hand is doing.
Cybo said, oh yes, I see your point Dos, silly me. Truth is the message that drowns out everything else.
Dollcee said, truth is a limited perception of everything and whatever.
Dollcee said, there is no alternative, only truth.
Cybo said, I wonder what the random nature of the universe has instore for us content makers today, now we doubt the truth of the truth.
Dollcee said, we always have our ignorance and youthful energy to get us going on something else.
