SIT
Dollcee said, while I was waiting for the bus this morning, I thought, image and sound can be distorted and some citizens will identify with the dissonance. However, how do you distort text in a way that citizens can identify with it.
Cybo said, I can’t even begin to imagine how to distort text and retain meaning.
Dos said, it has been done many times and citizens identify with it.
Dollcee asked, how would you distort text?
Dos said, find several willing citizens to get intoxicated and when they are well and truly off with the fairies, record their conversation.
Dollcee said, that would be exciting research and even culture content production, but we don’t have enough funds that would get a mouse intoxicated.
Dos said, okay, how about we record some television and cut and paste it in a random manner.
Cybo said, that would be loads of fun using leaders of mankind as the subjects.
Dollcee said, while I was riding on the bus, I had another thought. I believe we are eligible to join the SIT art movement.
Dos asked, what is the SIT art movement?
Dollcee said, now that digitol media has consumed the arts, serious art now is Sound, Image and Text and that is what we do.
Cybo said, funny that, it never occurred to me that we are SIT arts.
Dos asked, is it a recognized art form?
Dollcee said, it is now. There are many institutions that claim to instruct citizens in sound production, image making or writing text. However, we are professionals. It is all we do, so we are professionals.
Dos said, because we are unknowns, we could easily rename ourselves; Padoke, popular culture SIT arts.
Or, we could simply become, Padoke SIT.
Padoke asked, what is your problem Dos, I am sitting.
