Cultural Impairment
Dos said, when I was really young, there were plenty of people telling me that I have to make a decision on this or that matter. They would more likely say that I have choices. None of this bothered me much until a very complex word was added to my lexicon and that was freedom.
Freedom, introduces a lot of complex concepts into the world of simple decision making. Freedom is the very central pillar of my culture. Everything in the entire universe is dependent on it.
When I was a boy, I was fortunate enough to have several pairs of socks to choose from. On reflection, for most people on the planet at the time, I was probably lucky to have shoes. Which socks will I wear today?
I suppose when freedom is only choosing which socks to wear, then, that’s not so bad, but, when it gets really bad is when you have the freedom to be a fat slob, sorry, an obese citizen, from consuming excessive quantities fizzy sugar water. Without being aware until years later, you discover, you are a fat citizen.
This is only a simple example of freedom, it can get very complex, especially when you are culturally impaired like I am. This is not a plea for sympathy, cultural impairment is rampant, unfortunately, most citizens simply are not aware of it and take full responsibility for their own failings. They never suspect that they may have a defective neuron switching pulses to another defective neuron. Remember, one faulty neural switch and your day can turn to shit.
What has this got to do with freedom? Freedom is a load of old bollocks, when you haven’t got a clue.
