There is a reason
Dos turned to Padoke and said, for a dog, you are getting old Padoke.
Padoke lifted his head and looked at Dos with an expression of, so what is your point?
Dos went on, do you believe that wisdom comes with age?
Padoke rolled his eyes and said, no.
That was the end of the conversation before it even got started, until Dollcee said, nothing much really changes.
Cybo said, as an entity that does not like to expend energy for no good reason, existence appears to happen in slow motion. We seem to spend most of our existence reflecting on what has already happened, while waiting for what is going to happen.
Dollcee said, I cannot make up my mind whether it is better to celebrate my ignorance or chip away at it.
Cybo said, the more aware a citizen is of their ignorance, the more aware they are of the enormity of everything.
Dos said, I have been reading articles about the danger for young citizens to be exceptional at something and be credited with being gifted. The statistics show they rarely survive beyond their twenties.
Dollcee said, I want to be exceptionally ignorant by the time I return to star dust.
Cybo said, I strongly recommend that you do not become famous for your ignorance, at least until you are old enough not to take it too seriously.
Dos said, there is a reason the good die young.
Dollcee said, that’s it, my dreams of exceptional ignorance will mean an existence of obscurity, well, at least until I am old enough to be able to manage my perception of everything.
Padoke thought to himself, will Padoke the young popular culture band ever exist or, will they need to remain obscure in order to not get carried away with nonsense they hope to become part of.
