                                     Being Responsible

Dollcee said, I am not really up to this today. I think getting here has been enough effort for me. My batteries appear to be almost flat.

Cybo said, I understand Dollcee, I am on energy saving mode and happy to remain in that state.

Padoke lay motionless on the floor, occasionally twitching from flea activity.

Dos said, if everyone on the planet worked hard all day every day, there would not be much left of the planet, because it would be all built out. If activity was reduced to what was required for a comfortable existence, the poor old planet would probably breath a sigh of relief.

Dollcee asked, do you think the planet gets annoyed with all the things being built all over it.

Dos said, if I was the planet, I certainly would not be happy with big machines digging giant holes all over me and banging and bashing all day every day. No wonder old rocks get grumpy.

Cybo said, I am not sure if the planet gets much say in what happens to it.

Dollcee said, if I was a leader of mankind, I certainly would not be happy with hyper active, super ambitious or diligently productive types being able to build continuously all day every day. I would only let them go to work for four hours once a week and if they can’t burn off their enthusiasm in that time, they could go to the community dynamo and make some electricity on a treadmill.

Cybo asked, how long would you suggest the more relaxed easy-going types of builders would be allowed to produce for Dollcee.

Dollcee thought for a while and replied, only long enough to keep things operational, say, two days a week, if they felt like it.

Dos thought aloud, I wonder how productive we are as artistic digitol content makers. We don’t really have anyone to compare us with. I am sure, we are being responsible.

        Padoke remained sound asleep.
