Really Real

        Dollcee turned and looked straight at Dos and asked, do you really believe that we can be legitimate cultural content makers, when we are fictitious characters in some obscure blog?

        Dos replied, culture is all fiction. Culture is a set of propositions that function as a framework to enable citizens to navigate their way through their existence. It is sometimes called civilization.

        It really doesn’t matter whether our existence is really real or an elaborate fiction. 
        Dollcee said, I really feel like I exist when I am on the bus on my way over here. There is too much going on for me to imagine it all. Once I am here in the little room in the universe, I am not so convinced that it is all really real. With all respect Padoke, I don’t go around telling every Tom, Dick and Mary that I have a friend who is a talking dog with green ears.

        Cybo said, I seem to spend a lot of time in some sort of suspended animation and I can’t remember the last time I existed outside of this little room in the universe. However, when I glance across at Padoke’s television, I feel grateful that I am not part of an image that is being represented on the television. 
        Cybo went on, in fact, I sometimes wonder if what is being presented on the television is a total fiction or if it is really real. My character is in a much better place than most of those poor images on television.

        Dollcee said, when you put it like that Cybo, I wonder if citizens can develop elaborate fictions for themselves, or do they have to hope that one is made up for them.

        Dos said, the only thing that a citizen who exists in a civilized culture can be really sure of, is, most of existence, is an elaborate fiction. So, I am sure there are plenty of citizens who happily exist in fantasy that only they understand. 
        Cybo said, I happily accept that it is highly possible that I am a fictitious character. My character is neither aggressive or angry and doesn’t have excessive or unreasonable wants. I am happy to be portrayed this way.

        Dollcee said, I believe my character is always attempting to be well balanced and aware of what is happening around her. I have been known to get a little frustrated and angry at times, but my age and lack of experiences should be taken into account.

        Padoke said, there are plenty of utter nutters out there and if that is a result of the random nature of the universe, then, so be it. It is all fiction.
