The controlling functionaries
Dollcee said, her hairdresser, Lyle, said, that all citizens have multiple personalities and it is his work as a hairdresser to bring out the appropriate personality for the citizen’s current hair style.
Dos said, I cannot figure out whether Lyle is genius or a complete and utter nutter.
Dollcee said, I have no opinion on Lyle, other than his Olympic ability to talk.
Cybo said, that is an interesting concept. A citizen’s neural network has several separate controlling functionaries.
Dos said, I wonder if Lyle is a descendent of the Greek hairdressing gods. Zues had multiple personalities.
Dollcee said, I often wonder if every time there appears to be a major cultural change, the newly emerging cultural leadership simply appropriates what is already existing and simply re-names most things in an attempt to appear legitimate.
Cybo asked, do you think that the cultural police simply get new uniforms?
Dollcee said, each new cultural leadership appears to have more similarities than differences. It could really be about how something is defined, rather than actual structural arrangements changing.
Cybo said, I suppose the more surplus wealth, the better the record keeping. The culture leadership that replaces this current one is going to have to have some incredible system to manage all the data that they will inherit, the museums will be huge. Banks and banks of memory sticks piled up in vast repositories.
Dos said, I suppose it will get to a point where the next cultural leadership will say, don’t dig up anymore data, it’s all the same. Let’s get on with appropriating only what is worth our while, like hairdressing and fashion styles.
Padoke said, they won’t ignore the data on how to make bombs so you can frighten off the badies.
