Why Cybo

          Cybo believes that different religious doctrines don’t differ all that much from each other. So, he went through what each religion proclaimed, extracted what he thought was worthwhile and discarded the rest. This has proven to be a successful approach for surviving in the neighbourhood. He believes that politics and religion are the same thing. He claims the rise of the western welfare state is a direct reflection of the decline in traditional religions.

          Dollcee asked him what were his thoughts about violent warfare amongst groups.

          He responded, I don’t know whether I can answer that question, I have no experience of warfare, except turf wars in this neighbourhood. I can say what I think about social organization though. I have noticed most citizens do not like their existence disrupted. It is important for them to have straightforward beliefs. When the majority believe they understand what is happening, things go well. It is essential that citizens have an identity they are happy with and that is about how they perceive their place in the world around them.

          Every social group will have some unhinged members and they need to be managed with care. Sooner or later, everything will probably fall apart, so enjoy the good times. Be careful of what you share from the privacy of your mind.
