Three P’s
Dos said, you may find this interesting Dollcee. I had an independently thought up idea, all by myself. Well, I think it is my idea and not something I picked up from my device.
Dollcee responded with a little edge of impatience, well, what is this idea, Dos.
Well, let’s assume that most citizens believe that they are not very important in the overall scheme of the culture. So, they try to construct some sort of identity that appears to them to be unique. One of the important aspects of any identity is the music associated with it. My idea is this, we should develop a name for a music genre.
Dollcee asked, how do you plan to come up with a new and unique music genre, Dos?
No, not a whole new style, I only mean a name for a genre.
Dollcee said, for a pop culture musician Dos, I sometimes wonder if you are on the same train as myself.
What do you mean, Dollcee, said a stunned Dos.
Dollcee said, go and have a look at how many genres there are, then start counting up how many sub-genres there are. I’ll see you in a week Dos.
Dos had a deflated look and could only manage a mumble of disappointment. He would never have gone ahead with such a contrived plan to capture an audience, but he was upset that his idea was flawed.
Dollcee felt sorry for him and tried to comfort him a bit, she said, Dos, I think it is a total waste of time trying to contrive anything. Our biggest asset is, we love doing what we do and it shows in our content. Let’s stick to what we like doing and if all falls apart, at least we are having a good experience, simply existing.
Padoke said, you only exist once, try and make the best of it, don’t squander your limited existence.
Dos quickly recovered from the shallow depths of his depression. We are very fortunate to be able to recognize that most of our existence is perception and we do have a good position to view it from.
Padoke said, a good existence can be, perception, perception, perception.
