The Pyramid

          Dos never tired of listening to Cybo’s impressions of Western culture. 
          He thought, here in privacy of my own little brain, I look, but there is still so much I do not see. He totally agreed with Dollcee, be happy with the knowledge of the great depth of your own ignorance, otherwise you will be restricted from so much existence.

          Cybo said, the Egyptians went to a lot of trouble to build structures that represented the basis of Western culture. Dos, it disappoints me that the television journalist with their amazing cameras don’t point this out.

          They cannot see the point. That is a joke Dos, that will soon become apparent.

          The pyramid has one stone on top that is the same shape as the structure as a whole.

          Cybo paused so Dos could see the previously mention joke.

          Western culture is based on the belief that all of the pyramid’s stones are autonomous spirits that can through aspiration and hard work, change shape and become the stone on top that represents the whole. That is one of the great delusions of western culture.

          Western culture works on the premise that the great structure can only be achieved with the efforts of slaves who can be fooled into believing that they can, in the next life be that stone on the top that has the wealth and wisdom of all beneath it. I wonder why it is not stated that the stone on top is supported by all the slaves beneath it.

          That is not to ignore all the weight of heaven that bears down on the poor head stone to pass onto all the slaves below; to keep it up chaps, you can do it. Never mind the pressure.

          Cybo paused for so long, Dos was about to get up and go to the mini-mart.

          Cybo, exclaimed, what delusional nonsense. The result of all this misery and suffering is a tourist attraction thousands of years later. The tourists cannot see what the ancient Egyptians were really trying to say, don’t waste your time and efforts lads, it’s really a load of old bollocks.

          Padoke mumbled, that seems to be consistent with citizens, they like to be delusional.
