                                        Non-smarts

Dollcee said, did you know that the Greeks in the really old days were a lot smarter than citizens are now. I wonder how that could be?

Dos said, that is a really amazing coincidence Dollcee, I have been reading an article on the line written by a professor from an institution on that very subject.

Dollcee said, I must have been receiving transmissions from your neural network.

Dos went on, the professor claimed that because Greek is one of the oldest written texts known to exist, it is revered for that reason. The text would have taken a long time to develop and so the ideas presented would have been an essential part of this development. He also claimed that the culture that produced the works, would have more than likely considered thinking about everything and then recording it as a very worthwhile undertaking.

Cybo said, what interests me about what you said Dos, is, that the culture of the olden day Greeks, considered thinking about everything is a very valuable and worthwhile undertaking. The current culture is dominated by the economy of things and the really clever leaders of mankind, try to find ways of amassing fortunes through finance, where the idea is to not to even bother with much besides shinny things and have lots of naughts on the ledger.

Dollcee said, we spend a lot of our time considering everything about the culture, do think we could be smart?

Dos said, being smart has absolutely nothing to do with what you can or cannot do. It is about how you are viewed by your fellow citizens. We are totality invisible in the popular culture. With eight billion citizens currently existing and they are unaware of us, we don’t even make it onto the scale, never alone, get a rating.

Dollcee said, that’s it, I am not going to go around worrying about how smart or not so smart I am.
Cybo said, I wonder if there is a term in the culture that describes how, non- smart a citizen is due to their total lack of cultural recognition. I am culturally smart poor or am I dumb? Oh, that sounds like it is smart to be poor. What about, we have non-smart poverty, we are culturally non-smarties.

Dos said, would it be vulgar or egotistical to consider yourself having ‘cultural non-smarts’?

Dollcee responded, no one would have a clue what you were talking about Dos, so they would think, what is this utter nutter on about?

Padoke mumbled, exactly, what are these utter nutters on about?
