Dead Souls
Dollcee asked Dos, have you ever heard of a dead soul?
Dos did not respond, his neural system appeared to be dormant.
Cybo titled his head in the direction of Dos.
Dollcee asked, what is wrong Dos, was it my question or have you got a problem?
Sorry Dollcee, Dos finally spoke, something occurred to me. Religions, for goodness knows how long, have put forward the concept that humans have a soul that resides in their physical structure. What they have been going on about is really an operating system, a neural network with random switching that is an essential part of a semi-autonomous biological structure.
Dollcee said, holly molly, no wonder you went into stunned silence.
Dos continued slowly, it is incredible, citizens have been aware of having a functioning operating system for a long, long, time. The language or code simply had not developed enough to identify it accurately as an operating system and so it has been called a soul.
Dollcee said, golly gum drops Dos, this could simplify cultural relationships in a big way.
Cybo said, when you adopt this definition, then, a semi-autonomous operating system or soul can cease operation within an individual. However, the collective experience continues to migrate into new semi-autonomous systems or new citizens (also known as baby citizens or New Born Citizens). This means, that our cultural language is really the soul of citizenship.
Dollcee said, gee wizz, we are each other and everyone that has come before us, like it or not.
Padoke remained sound asleep.
