The Adaptoes

          Dollcee said, while I was riding on the bus this morning, it occurred to me that there could be another citizen that is my identical twin.

          Dos said, with over eight billion citizens currently on the planet, there could be lots of identical Dollcees.

          Dollcee said, statically speaking, you are probably correct Dos, but coming in contact with them would be remote.

          Dos said, I think it is more about what similarities you are considering. There could be citizens that look identical to you, but there might be huge differences in their character. 
          Then, there could be citizens that you have little in common with you physically, but are very similar in characteristics.

          Dollcee said, now that raises an issue that concerns me Dos. What if you came across a citizen who thought the same way you do and after a short time, you think, what an absolute goose.

          Dos said, that is probably happening all of the time.

          Dollcee said, even though I aware that there could be improvements made to my character, it is all that I have. I could console myself by saying, excuse me, I am a work in progress.

          Dos said, I really don’t know what I am talking about and I am probably only repeating things that I have read in articles on the line. 
          It is my current belief that our characters are constantly changing and adapting to what is happening around us. Especially, in relation to who we are dealing with at a particular moment.

          Cybo said, funny that Dos, that is exactly what I was thinking when you said it. We are adaptoes. To put it more politely, we are evolving characters.

          Dollcee said, that would be a good name for a popular culture band, ‘The Adaptoes’.

          Padoke mumbled, be careful believing you can be adaptors. The evolution of my species went from being proud wolves to domesticated dogs pets very quickly.
