Identity Crisis

Dollcee said, Hey Dos, we know we are characters on some blog called Padoke. We have been developed from guidelines about how to develop an Indie band for online streaming. Some areas we fit the model and other areas we are dismal failures. Our main problem being we have a problem about being a product that people with some spare cash will wish to purchase.
Well, I have been thinking, as characters we have a good existence. We enjoy making music and visuals on our own terms. We have a clever talking dog to consult, he does have fleas, but he keeps them to himself.
We don’t have big expectations, because we know we are regular characters with nothing to prove. We don’t need much in the way of resources, we exist within our means. We don’t have psychical celebrity images to maintain and that is a big plus. Also, we do not need a security detail.
So, can we get away with being ordinary characters who simply enjoy putting out our interpretation of existence, without having a need to justify anything.
Dos sat there with a dumb smile on his face and finally said, Dollcee, I see where you are coming from.
Padoke rolled onto his back and acted dead for a moment, then said, you exist, how and in what form doesn’t matter. Like everything in the universe, no one really knows how it came to exist and for that matter, probably don’t care all that much. There are far too many immediate worries to concern yourself with.
Dos said, that must be a big problem for the Gods who couldn’t exist until their believers existed, so they could justify their existence.
Dollcee said, I suppose that is why they came up with chickens, so they say explain it as a chicken and egg argument.
