Padoke Explainer

Padoke is a dog. He can talk to citizens, sometimes he talks down to them as though they are a foolish species that are fond of squandering what he believes are irreplaceable opportunities of random chance, that mathematically are highly unlikely to happen again in the current form of the universe.

He gets upset sometimes with the fleas that exist in the hairs of his coat for biting him. However, he will point out to anyone who will listen, there are no records of fleas developing or using atomic weapons, I can handle a big nibble occasionally. Why should every flea in my coat, pay the price for one zealous
nibbler.

Padoke has spent most of his existence on the floor in front of a television that only goes off when there is a blackout. The exposure to Western culture through television has formed his views on almost everything he regards as culture.

Padoke believes that culture is language, code, mathematics; infact any form of messaging that is understood or misunderstood by a receiver. The message generated is an accumulation of energy that forms an independent logic, when a
receiver can interrupt it.

Padoke is absolutely certain that there is no such thing as artificial intelligence. There is nothing in the universe that is artificial, he likes to point out. Everything, like it or not, is part of the universe.

Padoke believes that citizens are species-centric, if they cannot see an immediate benefit for themselves, it is waste of time.

In the privacy of his own mind, surrounded by citizens, Padoke often thinks, they will never get beyond their own exceptionalism, until it is too late for this beautiful little blue-green planet.
