Death by Celebrity

Dollcee said, Dos, when you are having fun and sort of hoping for something, and you think that, you really don’t know what it is you are after, but you believe it is what you are expected to do; when you ask the question, it really doesn’t make much sense, does it.

Dos replied, I get the fun and hope bit, but no one has ever expected much from me, so, you are correct, it doesn’t make much sense.

Cybo shifted slightly and muttered, I expect I will have fun and I hope to continue to have fun.

Dollcee said, now that makes sense, but I think what I also mean is; sometimes it doesn’t seem like fun when you are deeply engaged, but when you look back it certainly sounds like it was fun.

Dos said, that is a lot better, get rid of expectations and hope to have fun.

Dollcee said, okay, we are a band and we have enough to deal with without getting all tangled up in expectations.

Cybo said, I go along with that, we are on a journey and why get distracted and confused by expecting some great destination that keeps alluding you, mainly because you haven’t got a clue what or where it is.

Dos said, when you say it like that, it sounds like a warning. A local brass marching band or conga band are recreational bands. Members come and go and the band goes on. However, too many popular culture bands expect too much. The true story is when they hit the big time, they experience death by celebrity.

Cybo said, why would any one wish to make an artistic statement by dying at twenty-seven. Then again, there is that band the Ancient Stones, also known as The Pile of Rocks. Hang on, I think it is, The Rockers with Piles.
