Dos replied, Dollcee there has only been one significant focus by humanoids in recent decades and that is data collection. I feel I am part of this and in many ways, it has developed beyond my scope. It feels like it may lead to many things, but it’s importance will pass eventually.
Unless the data can be applied to something that is recognized as valuable by the culture, it is of little importance. You cannot eat, breath or drink data, it is code or language. Like the treasuries of the ancient empires full of jewels and precious metal, it could be gone for ever at any time.
Padoke joined in, look at marketing, there has been so much data collected on the most recent generations, that corporations treat them like dismembered frogs and know exactly where to apply a little electrical charge to make them purchase anything, any time.

That is the central tenant of this culture we try to exist in. There can be some controllable dissent, but the majority must hold on to beliefs that can be very silly sometimes, because without them, the culture will cease to exist.
Dos asked, if the culture ceases to exist, does that mean we do also?
