Where does it begin

Padoke, where do you think words stop and the real world begins, asked Dos.

Padoke made a sound that sounded more like a rumble than a grumble.

Finally, Padoke said, reality is where you walk into a wall in the dark. Reality, is something you cannot avoid and you are forced to deal with it. Reality is the need to breath, drink and eat. Everything else is perception and perception is how you describe something.

Padoke continued, it is my opinion that this boundary is constantly changing and as a result of this, it is very easy to lose track of, or get confused about what is reality and what is perception.

For example, what if some nutter came to the door and started raving on about something. Which one of us would wish to go and deal with the nutter. Say it was up to me, I couldn’t say what is your problem, you, nutter, I would have to bark at him and get abused until he went away.

Padoke went on, it would be much better if one of you went to the door and said politely. Sorry, but we do not wish to experience the reality you are forcing on us, you, nutter. Shut the door and return in here to our happy perception by excluding an unpleasant reality.

Dos said, there is one thing for sure, we will not get bored, because we have so much to figure out.

Dollcee said, maybe that’s why we never figured things out, so we don’t get bored.

Padoke responded, we are very fortunate, what luxury, we have time and energy to sit around and wonder.
