Predictions

Dollcee said, I have been critiquing some space telescope images and when you take into consideration how long that light has taken to reach the telescope, then it is not unreasonable to think of the telescope as a time machine.

Dos said, it is a pity that you can not interact with the past, but it is incredible that we can recognize that we are looking at a slice of imagery from a long time ago.

Padoke said, what I would like to do is reverse it and take a slice from the future.

Dollcee said, you would have to introduce a curly one into the conversation Padoke. As we are happily mesmerized by a slice from the distant pass, you want to race off into the great unknown.

Well, my dear old dog Padoke, said Dollcee, it is my opinion that there is no possibility of predicting a future, simply because the very basis of the universe, wave energy, causes random outcomes.

The random nature of the universe could be nature’s in-built safety valve to save precious planets from the rampant madness of a species, said Dos.

Dollcee said, what a silly creature centric thing to say Dos. Why would katrillions of bazillions of dillygillions of tiny pulses of energy give a second thought to a little blue-green planet with only eight billion silly creatures that keep fighting with each other over really stupid and selfish reasons.

A loud and resonant voice from no identifiable direction said, you be careful Dollcee, throwing numbers around like that, the computer is struggling to come up with enough zeros.
