Who is in Control

Dos had been looking up at the ceiling for some time and with out changing his gaze, he said, who do you think controls the world Padoke?

Padoke lay motionless, except for the occasional twitch and finally said, probably gravity.

Dos finally dropped his gaze and said, who, not what.

Padoke said excuse me, why can’t gravity be a who, why does it have to be as what.

Padoke paused long enough for Dos to think about this and as Dos was about to speak, Padoke said, as far as I can see, there is no humanoid intelligence, singular or collective, that is capable of controlling the world. If there was some over arching controller, the abuse of the planet would be curtailed.

Padoke went on, I could give a list of who I think tries to control all eight billion humans. I think it is really a case of who makes the most noise and attempts to drown out others, is more the case. Like, do as we say, not as we do. There is the leveler, control is an illusion, a series of tricks. Citizens wake up to it, after a while.

Someone new comes along and they say look over here, no, not over there and the games moves on.

Who can hold the most attention is the current monkey on top, until, who knows. It is all about language, that is why so many really important people fear Ohbumall, the intelligent machine. If monkeys can learn to imitate, why can’t code.
