Spectrumologist

Dollcee said to Maria and Rosa, I think that there are a lot of citizens out there, who not only want to be somebody, but they suspect that you have to belong to something and be recognized to achieve this.

Too true Dollcee, who writes all of these insightful things you say? You are so young and so observant, said Maria.

Dollcee said, I haven’t got a clue. I am a fictitious character in a blog, just like you and Rosa. There really isn’t much in the universe that is totally verifiable, so who cares.

I like our characters; we are not putting any strain on the planet and hopefully there are some real citizens who get a bit of distraction from what they believe is their reality. You never know, we might even make some citizens smile for a while.

Rosa said, what were you going to say before Maria ran you into that confessional ditch.

Oh yes, said Dollcee, I am thinking about giving up my career as an intergalactic art critic and becoming a Spectumologist.

Maria said, what is and how do you become a spectrumologist?

A spectrumologist is someone who defines two states of being. Then, draws a line between them and adds reference points between them. Good and Evil are often used by civic leaders as two states and then, they place a citizens current position along the spectrum.

My concept is this; my two states will be Acceptance and Rejection. The citizens who require my assistance to help them establish their place on the spectrum will be called clients. Definitely, not consumers, even though I will charge for the service.

My idea is to make the spectrum so humongous, that very few would even get close to the non-inclusion end of the spectrum. My clients will be assisted with their definition of inclusion, so as to reassure them of almost everything and whatever and their place in the great scheme of it all.

Rosa said, it sounds like a scam to me Dollcee, I thought you were above that.

Oh no, said Dollcee, I better not proceed and stick with art. I won’t be misleading any one then.
