Dos said, I was reading an article on the line by a professor from an institution in a remote region and he claimed that citizens have lost their ability to use common-sense in their decision making.
Dollcee said, I think that professor should stay in his remote institution, because he sounds like he is even more naïve than I am. For a start, what is common-sense? It is something I would expect some patronising boofo to say to some poor innocent kid struggling to deal with something they are unfamiliar with.
Cybo shifted and said, here, here, Dollcee; what is obvious to one citizen could be a total mystery to another citizen. With almost every step I take beyond the portal of our little room in the universe, I am confronted by mysteries, all of the time.
Why, for example are thousands of citizens all travelling in automobiles from one direction, while thousands more are travelling from that direction towards this direction. Why do these citizens go, this-a-way, while those citizens go, that-a-way? My answer is this, the citizens must be trying to imitate ants, because they must think ants are much smarter. Ants do not have to wear clothes or encase themselves in automobiles to go marching back and forth. Why do citizens believe that they are clever, by sitting in traffic jams with frustrated expressions on their faces.
Dollcee said, I share your lack of understanding Cybo. I do not have common-sense, because I can not see the point behind spending a large amount of time sitting a metal box going nowhere, slowly.
I know I travel back and forth each day on the bus and I could do most of my content making at home, but, as I say, I do not have common-sense.
Dos said, do you think ants have common-sense and are smarter than the civilized citizens of the culture?
Padoke, turned and looked around the room with a long slow glance and finally said, ants, you are so species centric, if only you could escapee the boundaries of your species’ limitations.
No one knew exactly what Padoke meant, so rather than embarrass themselves, they kept quiet.
